SYMBIOSIS

 

Plants attract

humans attract 

others

of their own

sometimes of other

species

simbiotes are not always alien

or parasitic

or commensalistic

even mutual

yet predation 

of flesh

and mind

appear 

in all symbiotic relationships

nuptial

and political

and business

unawares

or 

consensual

the threat

or act

of violence

disregarded

evident

or secret

but of benefit

as can be perceived

by all

individuals

and groups

as they all 

live and die

with and without pain
