If You Wake UP
Consider the number of times
and the occasions
when joy of life
brought you back
for a whiff
of the perfume of pineapple and cloves
to finally leave
in a final sigh.
Then
hide under the cypresses
marble cold to the eye
breezy cold to the ear
and in search of another whiff
of a slightly warm
tender
caress
and its bouquet
