DEMOCRACY, MONARCHY, THEOCRACY, DICTATORSHIP , VIOLENCE FOR HUMANITY
Using acts of violence to silence viewpoints is quite common in democracies as well as other systems of government. In democracies the perpetrators are not openly linked to the bureaucracy or the government. Sometimes they are called, “the deep state”, sometimes “concerned citizens” or “true believers” or “foreign agents” or “unidentified terrorists” The result is the same: suffering, unless the ruling elite makes the mistake of upsetting a large proportion of the population or if the material benefits of the vilolence is not distributed to the group who expected or were promised returns. What happens next depends on the culture. Authoritarian cultures which teach subservience, class differences, and have religions which continue to disregard human rights may change one type of dictator to another or just sit and hope and pray for better times. The obsequious majority may only try to cheat and steal and expect servility from any others they consider their inferiors. Their justifications are based on myths, fairy tales, divine texts and most written laws.
