MISTREATED ENTITIES OF THE PAST

 

ANGER,  ANTIPATHY, SENSELESS VIOLENT BEHAVIOUR 

these are all too common

to the human species

according to

laymen

unacademic students

of human actions

writers

speakers

family

and

friends

lawmen

and

lawless

men and women

living unaware lives

not ever

seeing

or feeling

ghosts

of their subjects

haunting them

with 

unexpected

sudden

temporary

twitches

itches

skin bumps

cold

and hot

flashes

not at all menapausal

heart murmurs

unrelated to lost testesterone

and

dreams

of

lost opportunities

for joy and happiness

The subjest of these actions

other humans

insects

abandoned shelters

pets

fish

molluscs

moths

even butterflies

winged

and

with many legs

antennae

that feel

all that they feel

with

stoic toughts

as an incident of their lives

till they decide

to haunt

us
